Zorb Balls Enriched Our Family Reunion (Part 1)

This is a diary entry I am writing to record a special family gathering. We have an annual family gathering at mid-autumn where my grandparents, aunts and uncles as well as my cousins get together to share about their recent lives as well as to record some games played together. I have always looked forward to this gathering as it gives me and my other cousins the opportunity to play together. Usually we don't have the opportunity to get together as our parents work in different cities and we study in different places accordingly.

Preparation for the party

This year's party was organised by my mum and dad. I saw that my dad had bought a dozen zorb balls from Kameymall and I asked him curiously why he needed them. He said it was for the party. My eyes lit up as I realised that the party was not only a chance to meet up, but also a chance to experience new games.

Getting to know the zorb ball

My dad took the zorb balls out of the boot of the car and filled them with air and then I discovered that they were giant double spheres made up of two layers of clear plastic balls that could be worn by us. My dad also showed me the video of the bubble football and said that the things people were wearing in the video were zorb balls and after seeing something so amazing I was looking forward to the party all over again.

Here we go

My dad had to make sure that all the zorb balls worked so he filled each one with air, made sure it didn't leak and that there was nothing that would affect it, let the air out and put them back in the boot of the car one by one. Dad said the party was going to be different because of them.

I was also looking forward to the party, not only to seeing my cousins, but also to everyone wearing the special zorb ball for the game. It was with such anticipation and good mood that we set off.
