The importance of repairing the air track

Step 1: Find the hole in the air track

The first step in repairing an AirTrack, or any type of inflatable product for that matter, is to find the source of the deflation. Usually, you'll know right away. If you've just moved your mat and accidentally bumped into a sharp surface, you may feel a tear or poke and immediately hear the air leave the mat. Other times, the hole will be harder to notice. To find it, apply a small amount of warm soapy water to the surface of the inflatable mat. (You can use a squirt bottle; this is easy to do.) The hole will show up in the soapy water and you've found the culprit.

Step 2: Clean and dry the area

You've used the soapy water - now it's time to do some light scrubbing. Clean the area around the inflatable's hole to ensure your patch or glue sticks optimally. You don't have to scrub the whole inflatable - just the area you intend to repair.
