Steps to cut human hair wigs

Step 1: Start with dry, sleek hair.
Starting with wet or tangled hair will distort your hair and you may end up cutting your fringes too short by mistake.

Step 2: Put on your wig.
You should wear a wig while trimming your bangs to ensure they are the right length on your face.

Step 3: Make a triangle.
Separate your bangs or the hair you want to cut into fringes from the rest of your hair and pull it to the front of your face. This should form a triangle in the hair section.

Step 4: Determine the length.
Hold the length of hair you want to cut into bangs with your fingers. Allow the fringes to be longer than you think if they end up being too long, you can always go back and cut more length off.

Step 5: Pull straight forward.
Still holding the hair in your fingers, pull it straight up to the front of your face.

Step 6: Cut the fringes at an angle.
Starting in the middle, hold the scissors at a 45 degree angle and cut the bangs.
